Tsert.Com ITE Tracker is the module that allows the user to query the default tracking database. The default tracking database is the database that Tsert uses to track the results of testcase execution and the requirements that are associated to these testcases.
For default tracking to work effectively, you must have, a priori, used the Tsert.Com ITE Planner to document the requirements associated with a testsuite. In that case, you are expected to specify a keyword for each section that corresponds to a requirement. The requirement keyword is required because it is subsequently traced when the given testsuite is run.
Tsert.Com ITE Tracker can also be used as a general database viewer. When in test mode, it is used to test user-defined database schemas, allowing the user to automatically generate test data for SQL queries.
Tsert.Com ITE Tracker allows the user to retrieve information without having to issue explicit SQL queries, just by clicking on HTML links in the browser (SQL Link Traversal ©®).
