Tsert::OS
Search-Dialog©®
Our Search-Dialog©® is
simply just another UI client
accessing information. The information can come from many different
sources, such as Tsert::OS
volumes and SQL databases.
For SQL databases,
instead of files and
their attributes being
returned, database rows
and columns are.
The Tsert::OS
Search-Dialog©® (patent pending)
is our systems's
default file dialog
It is a basic file dialog with search functionality extensions. The
user can issue search queries for files using path specifications
(i.e. path-spec©® searches) or keywords.
You can access remote Tsert::OS
volumes and issue queries on these machines as if you were on your
local machine; but, your connections settings, for the remote machines,
must have been set appropriately.
With our
Search-Dialog©®, you can retrieve, copy and save files
from one
machine to the other. All communication is done through HTTP requests.
It uses our new Tsert::OS
mimetypes©®
listing/plain, listing/xml, listing/html. The new mimetype refers to
content which includes the file's POSIX
fstat bitset,
its owner, its user group, its mimetype, its URI, etc.
The date fields are used to
set the If-Modified-Since HTTP
header, which simply means that only files that are newer than the
specified date will be returned.
